Scooter Libby, Valerie Plame etc
The media still mentions the revealing of Valerie Plame as a CIA agent even though we all know there are no charges related to the original reason for the investigation. Libby is on trial for not remembering two year old conversations. It probably wouldn't take much to get me on the same charge.
Nobody has been charged for outing Plame because it was not a crime. Fitzgerald admitted late in the case that he didn't know if Plame even was a covert agent though the entire charge would hinge on that. The whole case is an attempt to chip away at the Bush administration and further the anti-Iraq war cause.
