God help us all.

Giving morphine to someone incapable of feeling pain?
Terri Schiavo, who has been described as having no cerebral cortex and
cannot feel pain, is being given morphine to help curb the pain.
I've resigned myself to the fact that nobody is going to stop this now but
as soon as it's over the State of Florida should seize her body and begin a
murder investigation.

Another Huh? moment...
Kofi Anan, head of the U.N., will be exonerated in a U.N. investigation into the oil for food scandal.
The fox in charge of the henhouse?
What's wrong with this picture?
The Federal Government has no business getting involved in a state matter such as starving a brain-damaged woman to death, despite compellingevidence contradicting previous court decisions.
Meanwhile, Federal judges routinely intervene in state death penalty cases.
But that's different, right?

When they came for the unborn babies
When they came for the handicapped
I did not speak out because I am not handicapped...
We all know how it ended before.
It couldn't happen again, could it?

So let me get this straight...
If I don't feed my dogs and they starve to death I go to jail, but if a judge orders the same treatment for an innocent human, it is nobody's business.
Congress isn't butting into a judicial matter; it is investiging increasing incidents of a judiciary no longer interpreting the law, but making it up as it goes along.
Choosing what evidence to hear and ignoring anything which contradicts prior rulings is dishonest at best. Knowing when to admit to a mistake and right a previous wrong is part of being an adult regardless of your vocation.
